Our swap meets

WHAT IS A CLOTHES SWAP EVENT?
A clothes swap is a type of swap meet wherein swappers bring in their pre-loved and valued but no longer used pieces in exchange for other pre-loved items.
Through swapping, we honour the process that the garments have been through to get to the current owner and pass on the story.

25SW4P's swap meets are vibrant, eco-conscious rendezvous where attendees share clothes, accessories, and books they're ready to ethically pass on. Nestled in an inviting atmosphere, we ensure every participant feels celebrated and included from the moment they step in.
Scheduled every last Saturday of the month, these swaps aren't just about fashion—they're a movement. By championing the re-love and exchange of apparel, we're taking bold strides against the environmental repercussions of the fast-fashion world, curbing waste, conserving resources, and leading the charge towards a greener, more stylish future.
Come, be part of the revolution!

WHY SWAP?
-
Refresh your wardrobe.
This is a great way to give the clothes that no longer serve you ( haven't been worn in a while, no longer fit your style no longer fit) a new home and to someone who will appreciate them.
2. Save money on clothing.
Let's be honest, shopping can be an expensive affair! With a small entrance fee, you get to walk away with valuable items that will last longer and that have come from closets full of love.
3. Social and Environmental Benefits.
This, we feel is the most important reason and should be to you as well. Clothes Swapping promotes slow fashion, conscious consumerism and a circular economy.

It is a fun and interactive way of reducing our environmental footprint while supporting a circular economy.
Textile production and consumption has harsh impacts on the environment like the disposal of harsh chemicals into water sources and other natural resources that are essential to the balance of the ecosystem.
The fashion industry is an exploitative one that often creates harsh and inhumane working environment for the garment workers.

A large sum of the clothes that are manufactured, end up in landfills producing more harmful gases into our atmosphere.
